| Freshers....Free Punting ! | Hall |

The Cauis punts will be available for use on Saturday 29th of September. This is a priority for MCR Freshers, meet in Cauis porters lodge at either at 11:30am or 2:30pm. Caius MCR committee members will be waiting at the lodge/MCR. We have up to 14 spaces for each time slot! | Normal dinner tickets can be used from Monday (note: no second hall on Monday). Hi Freshers, we are your first year representatives. We and the rest of the Middle Combination Room (MCR) committee are busy organizing a fun packed freshers� week. So that you get the most out of Caius and Cambridge in your first few days here.
As a heads up there are a couple of links to Cambridge University freshers� guides below. You can also look at the Caius MCR Freshers 2007 Facebook group.

| Most student rooms have network sockets for getting internet access. There's a new procedure in place which will hopefully be more straightforward than in previous years.
To get access, connect your computer to the network socket in your room and if you run a web browser, you should see a registration page - then just follow the instructions. If you have any questions, please read this first and if your questions are still unanswered, please contact the Student Computing Assistants.
You will then need to get your computer checked for viruses and updated by the Student Computing Assistants, before your network port is activated by the Computer Office. We'll run computer checking clinics where you can bring your laptop to be checked. If you have a desktop computer, i.e. not a laptop, please arrange for a Student Computing Assistant to visit you.
Clinics will be held on these dates. Please come early to clinics as checking might take up to two hours. We're aiming to check mostly laptops, but you're free to bring your desktop computer as well. If you come, please don't forget your power supply cables.
