Dining is one of the focal points of our MCR, and eating in College allows
graduates to get together during the week. The MCR committee holds port nights
every Thursday, to which all Caius graduates are invited for free port following
dinner.
The hall menu is available online, updated weekly by the Kitchen
Office.
In addition to Caius dining, the MCR runs a series of exchange dinners with
other college MCRs when, for a small extra cost, graduate students are given the
opportunity to experience a specially-prepared menu (and usually pre- and/or
post-prandial drinks) either at Caius, or at another college MCR. Look out for
email updates and keep an eye on the termcard.
During the summer, the committee organises a weekly barbeque in the gardens of 1/2 Harvey
Road. Just come along on Sunday evenings with something to cook; we'll provide the drinks!
In the winter months, every other Sunday is movie night — we meet in the MCR
after formal hall to watch a film chosen each fortnight by a different committee member.
